Dr. Medina is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon with over a decade of experience in advanced aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. Trained at Harvard Medical School and Johns Hopkins Hospital, he specializes in deep plane facelift surgery, complex rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty, breast reconstruction, and regenerative aesthetic surgery.
He is nationally recognized for innovation in fat grafting, craniofacial surgery, and advanced facial techniques that prioritize soft, natural results.
Education and Elite Surgical Training
Dr. Medina began his surgical training at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) through Harvard Medical School. He then completed his plastic surgery residency in the prestigious Harvard Combined Plastic Surgery Program, rotating through all four Harvard-affiliated academic hospitals.
During his final year at MGH, he served as Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery, a highly competitive leadership role. Upon graduation, he was awarded Resident Teacher of the Year in recognition of his dedication to education and mentorship.
He then completed an advanced Craniofacial Surgery Fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he trained under internationally recognized pioneers in facial reconstruction and aesthetic surgery.

- First three-piece fibula reconstruction for mandible and maxilla using CAD/CAM

He later was recruited to establish the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Baptist, where he currently serves as Chief and former Director of Microsurgery.
